2005 EASA Convention

“Giddy Up!” on over to A. O. Smith’s exhibit at this year’s Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) Convention to be held June 26 – 29, in Nashville, TN. A. O. Smith Electrical Products Company “Has the HORSES,” and will display its broad, robust product offering including an array of commercial, direct-current, farm-duty, and general-purpose motors.

Commercial-rated Century® single-phase, fractional and integral horsepower motors for compressor, conveyor, pump, and air-conditioning applications will be on display.

A portion of the company’s extensive Century® direct-current (DC) motors will be highlighted including; permanent magnet wash-down motors, farm-duty milk tank motors, and permanent magnet & direct-current DN shunt-wound elevator motors.

Another highlight of the exhibit will be a representation of A. O. Smith’s Farm-Rated motors for farm equipment and agricultural use. Fan & ventilation, instant reverse, high-torque & extra high-torque, crop dryer, auger drive, milk pump and grain stirring motors comprise their extensive offering.

General-purpose motors designed to withstand abusive environments such as dirt, dust and moisture will be on display as well. These three-phase, totally enclosed, fan-cooled and open dripproof, NEMA motors are suited for pump, fan, compressor and conveyor applications.
