A. O. Smith to Exhibit at AHR Expo in Monterrey, Mexico

A. O. Smith Electrical Products Company will exhibit at this year’s Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration, and Ventilation exposition to be held September 22 –24, at the Cintermex Convention Center in Monterrey, Mexico.

For the sixth year, the AHR Expo-Mexico promises to be Mexico’s largest HVAC&R event, and A. O. Smith is one of over 300 exhibitors that will be showcasing products at Mexico’s largest gathering of manufacturers and suppliers to the HVAC&R industry.

“A. O. Smith welcomes this opportunity to participate in the AHR Expo-Mexico because the show has become the portal for air-conditioning manufacturers and distributors in Latin America to reach Spanish-speaking suppliers and users of air-conditioning components,” according to Hernan Tienda, Latin America sales manager for A. O. Smith Electrical Products Company.. According to the AHR Expo-Mexico show management, estimated attendance at this year’s show is expected to exceed 5,000 HVAC&R contractors and dealers.

Tienda, stated that, “Monterrey is the perfect location for the AHR Expo-Mexico since it covers the north region of Mexico and the southern portion of the United States. These two zones have a high concentration of air-conditioning users. Moreover, Monterrey benefits from being the industrial base of Mexico.” As a veteran attendee of the show representing A. O. Smith, Tienda feels that the attendance has been consistently increasing year after year since the first AHR Expo-Mexico. Tienda also pointed out, “With A. O. Smith having a large base of manufacturing plants in Mexico, the AHR Expo-Mexico presents us with an ideal environment to market our product as a “Made in Mexico” motor, allowing us to compete with local motor manufacturers. With Mexico and Latin America an important growth market for A. O. Smith, our presence at this show will serve as an avenue for A. O. Smith to become a more recognizable name in our strategic efforts to gain increased market share.”
