Company displayed two new lines of OEM special replacement motors at this
year’s AHR Convention, January 26 - 28, in Anaheim, Calif.
The company has developed a new line of replacement motors for both Copeland
and Krack condenser fans for the heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration
(HAC/R) market.
A. O. Smith’s line of OEM replacements for Copeland condenser fans
includes two 42Y frame, single-speed models, which both operate at 230
volts, 1400/1625 RPMs. Stock number OCP0250 is a ¼ HP motor, while
stock number OCP0251 is a 1/6 HP motor. Rotation for the motors is clock-wise,
lead end.
Features for both models include resilient base mounts, 50/60HZ, a permanent
split capacitor (PSC) design with mounted capacitor, and reliable sleeve
bearings. Stock number OCP0250 is a direct OEM replacement for Copeland
model 050-0250-00 and Emerson model 6129. A. O. Smith stock number OCP0251
is a direct OEM replacement for Copeland model 050-0251-00 and Emerson
model 6128.
A. O. Smith’s line of OEM replacements for Krack condenser fans
includes two 56Y frame, three-phase models, both of which operate at 460/208-230
volts, and are equipped with an automatic overload protector. Stock number
OKR1096 is a ½ HP motor, while stock number OKR1503 is a 1 HP motor.
Features for both models include double sealed ball bearings, class B
insulation, and a 5/8” diameter shaft. Both models are electrically
reversible.
Stock number OKR1096 is a direct OEM replacement for Krack model 11096
and MagneTek/Century® model 150372. A. O. Smith stock number OKR1503
is a direct OEM replacement for Krack model 11503 and MagneTek/Century®
model 151437.
